Beschreibung
Napoleon's marshals are among the most important persons of French military history. Former British soldier and historian Richard Dunn-Pattinson (1874-1916) offers a very detailed description of the lives of the men given this honor by Napoleon: social background, political and military career and personal ties to the French emperor. The biographical portrayals are embedded in the story of Napoleon's own life and in the history of the Revolutionary and the Napoleonic Wars.
Reprint of the original edition from 1909.
