There is little that can not be a fetish. In »Fetish Ballad« MagLau opens the interior world of the academies of fetishism to us. He decended deep into the dungeons of several continents showing the obsessions for latex and leather, tattoos and shackles, in high strung, sensous black and white photographs that never appear as denunciation of the often as »deviant« perceived practices. The master of bondage photography, Rick Castro, said in an interview with »Dazed« recently: „fetish is exploring sex as an art (...). I have a feeling that everything will turn fetish in the 21st century.
