The Conference on Formal Methods in Computer-Aided Design (FMCAD) is an annual conference on the theory and applications of formal methods in hardware and system verification. FMCAD provides a leading forum to researchers in academia and industry for presenting and discussing groundbreaking methods, technologies, theoretical results, and tools for reasoning formally about computing systems. FMCAD covers formal aspects of computer-aided system design including verification, specification, synthesis, and testing.

Bruno Dutertre
Bruno Dutertre ist Senior Principal Applied Scientist in der Automated Reasoning Group bei Amazon Web Services. Er unterstützt die Entwicklung und Anwendung von SAT- und SMT-Solvern in Bereichen wie Code-Verifikation, Netzwerkanalyse und agentenbasierte KI.   Vor dem Antritt seiner Stelle bei AWS im Jahr 2021 arbeitete er bei SRI International, wo er den Yices 2 SMT-Solver mitentwickelte. Bei SRI war er zudem an der Modellprüfung und Verifikation von Echtzeit- und verteilten Systemen beteiligt. Zusammen mit anderen Forschenden im Bereich SMT erhielt er 2021 den CAV-Preis für bahnbrechende Beiträge zur Theorie und Praxis von Satisfiability Modulo Theories.
