Tom Collins, recently discharged after injury at Dunkirk, finds himself smack bang in the middle of the German invasion of the Orkney mainland. With time of the essence, he must gather all available forces to him in order to mount a form of guerilla resistance.
But as the days turn into weeks, Tom will discover that it is not just the invasion of Orkney as they had first suspected. Something is going on at the new base being made below the town in the centre of the Island, and Tom and his men must find out what, no matter what the cost!
