The pandemic and recent cyberattacks have ruthlessly exposed the EU's vulnerability and lack of resilience. The Union's delicate position in a multipolar world, where it advocates multilateralism and at the same time risks being crushed between the US, Russia and China, needs to be responded to with a comprehensive strategy.
