The present volume is the outcome of the fourth German-Korean conference held in July 2014 near Munich. Scientists from both the Bavarian School of Public Policy, associated with the Technical University of Munich, and the Institute of East and West Studies, a department of Yonsei University in Seoul, met to discuss current developments in Europe and the Far East.
