The caregiving responsibility is often associated with gender stereotypes, which significantly limits equality for mothers. The author explores the intersectional perspectives of mothers on discrimination based on heteronormativity, classism, racism, and mental health. It also sheds light on their negotiations for equality with their partners and their decisions as mothers.
