Self-determined learning using digital media and collaborative work in teams are becoming increasingly important in the modern working world. For vocational training, this means that in addition to the acquisition of occupation-specific technical and methodological skills, other important fields of learning are opening up. The Smart Working & Learning concept for inter-company training in the skilled trades aims to promote self-determined, collaborative learning and uses the didactic framework of the customer order. By using the ueba.elkonet.de platform, which offers practice-oriented customer assignments for the inter-company training weeks, implementing an innovative room concept and using modern media peripherals in the inter-company training workshops, as well as applying collaborative methods and tools, a modern, digital learning arrangement is created that also focuses on promoting the media skills of all participants.
