Cohousing has become increasingly popular in recent years. But how is it that people decide to move into cohousing? And how do movers experience and shape this change in housing? The author addresses these questions from an environmental psychological perspective based on interviews and quantitative surveys of especially elderly people before and after their move into multigenerational cohousing.
