Empirical social work research inevitably raises ethical questions due to often occurring problems, and dilemmas. This anthology is focusing on ethical challenges in doing social work research and discusses how to confront them. It also presents the code of research ethics developed by the German Association of Social Work (DGSA). The contributions comment on the code, substantiate and class it with regard to academic discipline and academic policy.
