Beschreibung

A multi-perspective exploration of Zoë Skoulding’s poetic works
This volume brings together a wide range of writers discussing and responding to the work of contemporary British poet Zoë Skoulding, also known for her work as editor, critic and translator. The chapters address the themes recurring in her literary output, focusing on the creative use of spatial categories and experimentation with poetic language. These topics converge in Skoulding’s extensive enquiry into lived and imagined topograpies, lyrical and ecological subjectivities, as well as the sonic and polyphonic dimensions of poetry. In the methodological perspective, the texts offer a range of approaches representative of trends in ecopoetics, blue humanities and soundscape studies. Finally, scholarly examination is supplemented in this book with an interview and translations.
