Numerical Investigation of Friction Drag Reduction by Spanwise Traveling Surface Waves

Beschreibung

Transversal traveling surface waves for drag reduction in turbulent boundary layer are investigated and the role of the different wave parameters is analyzed. Additionally, the combination of a passive and active method for drag reduction is investigated.
