Block copolymer phase behavior can be influenced by various external fields. This thesis was focused on the influence of two different stimuli using two different methods. In experimental work, electric fields were applied to study their effect on order-disorder transition temperatures of concentrated diblock copolymer solutions and temperature-dependent alterations of the characteristic microstructure domain spacings. In additional simulations, a new mesoscopic bead-field hybrid method was used to simulate the influence of nanoparticles on diblock copolymer phase behavior.
