This thesis covers the development of nanoelectrode arrays based on nanocrystalline diamond thin film technology. Several fundamental issues are discussed such as nanodiamond colloids and seeding in order to accomplish the combination of the benefits of nanostructured electrochemical sensors with the excellent electrochemical properties of diamond.
