This research work studies the agents and organs involved in the administration of temporal goods in a diocese. The study aims at presenting and evaluating the canonical provisions and its juridical relevance for an effective administration of temporal goods in a diocese with particular reference to the Catholic Church in Igboland, Nigeria. The specific situations in some dioceses in Igboland are also to be examined with the aim of finding out if the canonical stipulations are observed. The purpose of the work is to draw attention to the need for effective and efficient administration of diocesan temporal goods through the correct implementation of the norms of the Code.
