This study explores the importance of waste management in the European Union, especially in the Netherlands and the importance of the role of stakeholders in making political policies in waste management. In this study, the method used is qualitative with data sources from documents published by the European Union and the Dutch government. In this study, discussing Political Parties produce political policies aimed at meeting the needs of society based on David Easton's Political system. The findings of this study indicate that waste management in the European Union and its member countries is carried out as an effort to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in Pongrácz's Waste Management Theory. Where there is a role for Pressure groups in influencing the commitment of Political Parties in the election. The results show that there is a program related to the environment and waste management (Waste Management Program) initiated by Political Parties and the efficiency of waste management in the Netherlands. The basic mechanism of waste management in Europe, starting from waste sorting, the use of renewable technology in waste management, and increasing recycling capacity. Dutch political parties determine their political issues by accepting input as input to become political policies. Dutch society is very concerned about environmental issues including waste management, so political parties use it to gain support. Waste collection data in the Netherlands shows a decrease in the amount of waste piled up in landfills, this indicates that the stages of waste processing from sorting, reuse, incineration have good results or the program has been realized. In regional studies, social issues related to the environment such as waste management in Europe can be the subject of in-depth research that can be explored with a multidisciplinary approach and in depth from a political perspective.
