A monograph on the farmemployed, sedentary bushmen of western Botswana that analyzes processes of socio-cultural change and adaptation to and incorporation within a multi-ethnic, multi-racial plural society. The study focuses on the relationship between social conflict and acculturation. It is based on field work conducted between 1968 to 1970.
