The Rome II Regulation regulates the international law of non-contractual obligations relevant to practice. Volume I addresses the international law of torts, unjust enrichment, negotiorum gestio, and culpa in contrahendo. It also provides extensive commentary on the free choice of law. The current state of the dynamic development of jurisprudence at the European Court of Justice and member state courts is taken into account.
