This report presents the findings of a major project organized by the WHO Regional office for Europe, one of the most comprehensive surveys on environmental health ever carried out in Europe. It will be an essential tool for decision-makers, professionals, international organizations and scientific institutions in the fields of health and environment, and will provide much needed information for medical schools, schools of public health and postgraduate institutes, as well as nongovernmental organizations, advocacy groups and the business sector concerned with the environment and health.
