The „small guides“ illustrate churches, monasteries, palaces, castles, regions with a special artistic background, cities and museums in Europe. When collected, they supply a richly illustrated topographical library of European art treasures.
On the basis of current research, the „small guides“ give an informed overview on history, architects, style, epoch and the significance of images of the respective places. As a supplement to the „small guides“, more than 270 „big guides“ have been published up to now. They offer more detailed information in a bigger format. Some monuments are presented by audio books or audio guides for iPhones or smartphones, produced by our subsidiary company Artguide.
De Sint-Lambertuskerk aan het noordelijke einde van de Prinzipalmarkt is het belangrijkste sacrale gebouw uit de Westfaalse laatgotische periode en een kerk die werd gefinancierd door plaatselijke kooplieden. Een bijzonderheid zijn de ijzeren manden die aan de toren zijn bevestigd, waarin de lichamen van de leiders van het "wederdopersrijk Münster" in 1536 werden tentoongesteld. De beroemdste pastoor van St. Lamberti is Clemens August Graf von Galen, die in 1933 bisschop van Münster werd en in deze kerk ook preekte tegen de misdaden van de nationaalsocialisten.
