Appsolutely smart - this is the slogan which today's youth generation lives by. The elaborate panorama study "Jugend.Leben" (youth.life) sketches a comprehensive picture of the youth's various areas of life and is thus in line with the tradition of other large comparative studies. The increasing research interests in the experience realms of children and young adults provides the stimulus for the investigation of the many challenges and risks of growing up in today's society. Due to the interviews of nearly 6,000 children and young adults aged between 10 and 18 in North Rhine-Westphalia the study provides a substantiated overview of the topic youth culture. The focus of the books is on the living conditions, values and future prospects of children and young adults. The publication is aimed at parents and students (social and educational sciences), educators, teachers and all those working with young people.
