Booboo is an Indian Bison (Gaur) which are large herbivores who live in the Western Ghats of India. The Indian Bison is known by its characteristic white markings on its legs (socks). The book plays with this characteristic of the bison and follows him on an adventure through the forest as he tries to clean his socks that he accidently gets dirty. On his adventure, he meets different animals of the western Ghats who each offer him a different method till he finds one that works for him.
In addition the book contains "Notes for Parents": Some words in the book are marked with an asterisk (*). Parents who would like to provide more information to their kids can easily flip to the back pages and learn more.

A wildlife enthusiast with a passion for writing especially, Rohit has spent most of his life volunteering with various wildlife rescue teams in India.
