Fourteen site-specific works by one of the major German artists of the 20th century, and their architectural context.
A sculptor, filmmaker and installation artist, Rebecca Horn was one of the pre-eminent German artists of the 20th century. The catalogue of the retrospective exhibition at Tony Cragg’s Skulpturenpark Waldfrieden comprises fourteen large-scale installations and kinetic artworks from four decades, presenting the broad range of this artist’s work with a special focus on the principle of site-specificity. The 176-page publication contains texts on all the works, poetic texts by the artist, an illustrated exhibition history and a previously unpublished interview from 2014.
