The publication PREGO, conceived as an artist's book, presents the photographic, cinematic, and sculptural-installative work of Alwin Lay created in recent years. Within Alwin Lay's various thematic fields, the media-reflexive preoccupation with photography, film, their technical conditions and their image truths are among the recurring content-related aspects. With its sequence of images, the publication PREGO ties in with the moment of the perforation of a film reel and presents the work as a series with regular intervals.
