Nevea Muller, 12 years old, lives in suburban Los Angeles. She is considered conceited and aloof because of her parents' wealth.
Since nobody seems to understand her, she takes refuge more and more in a recurring dream, surreal, mysterious and creepy. The more she is there, the more dream and reality merge for Nevea, and soon she can no longer distinguish between what is real and what is not.
Kitty Linnore, once the empress of a fantastic, magical parallel world, experienced the sheer horror as a young adult when her boyfriend Dennis suddenly disappears without a trace. When he is declared dead after six months, she goes in search of him in the former dream world of her childhood.
Hannah Fanning, a 17-year-old student at a mysterious boarding school, owns an old piece of furniture that is missing a corner of a mirror. When the right shard of glass is found and used, contrary to the prohibition of the saleswoman at the time, Hannah and her roommate are taken into a strange, surreal and apocalyptic world, which is said to be the remains of the star of the rich, at the time under the name Naytnal known.
