Edith, the lovable main character is a little curious tortoise, who manages to get to Germany as a "stowaway". She discovers a lot of new things and has a lot of fun in the unknown country.
The little inquisitive tortoise Edith from Bhutan in the Himalaya mountains meets Detlef who comes from Germany. She hides herself in his bag and lands up in Germany as a stowaway. Here she discovers a lot of things which are strange to her together with her new friend Detlef, especially traffic light systems because in Bhutan they do not have them.
