The white noise filled his ears and sunk deeper into his head, emptying it of thoughts. He sat in his seat and closed his eyes. He quite enjoyed the silence around him - as well as the silence within him. In this world where stimuli and information waited behind every corner to beat the restlessness into your bones with constant harshness a few moments of silence were valuable. Silence is golden and we are destitute.
