How do we teach an additional language? This book gives information about it.
This book is the final part of a series of three books. The first book, “Teaching and Learning Methods for international students”, focuses on German as an additional language for L2 learners and the classification of students who have to enroll in a second language program, and contains several sample lesson plans. The second book “Reading and Writing Strategies for intentional language learners” focuses on reading and writing skills, assessment ideas for those students, and also offers sample lesson plans.
This new book will complete the concept of teaching in an international atmos-phere where students join the classroom knowing more than one language but not the language which is taught at the school itself. For this reason, the emphasis is on three selected lesson plans which show fair background knowledge of how students learn constructively and put their own unique creativity into their work.
