This book studied the new method to reduce the noise emission from panels by employing curvilinear stiffener and/or point masses. It is proved that this new method works very well in the low-frequency range to reduce noise at a resonance or from a frequency range. The new method has the advantage of low financial cost and high effect of noise reduction. It can be easily applied to develop innovative freight wagons or cars.
