Dirk Angel
Born in Leeds, UK, Dirk Angel (a nom de plume) grew up in the Middle East and Africa. His childhood was spent in Saudi Arabia and Zambia, where his father worked on 3-year expatriate contracts. Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) hosted his teenage years and saw him pass into manhood. In the early 80s, he moved to Spain, where he met the future ex-Mrs Dirk Angel, so Sweden was next on the list. It was inevitable that the home country should call, so in 1990, Dirk returned to Great Britain, taking up residence in Sheffield. At present, Dirk spends six months of each year in Australia, where he does most of his writing, and six in the UK. It was 'Lilith', Dirk's muse, that inspired him to write, so each book is dedicated to her. Dirk Angel is a solitary ritual chaotician.
