Paul Zollo is an author, music writer, songwriter and photographer. Born in Chicago, he’s written several books, including Songwriters On Songwriting, Expanded Edition (Da Capo)(which has been called “the songwriter’s bible” and is used as text in colleges around the world). The sequel, More Songwriters On Songwriting, was published in 2016. He’s also the author of Conversations with Tom Petty, and the award-winning Hollywood Remembered. He’s the editor of Zappa On Zappa; Interviews & Encounters, to be published in December of 2020.
