This dissertation addresses research opportunities by following calls to investigate decisionmaking on an overall portfolio level as well as on a single project level. Research on both levels of innovation processes offers a comprehensive understanding of the impact of an individual’s decision-making on the whole organization as well as on single innovation projects.
