A voyage in search of wealth and fortune led to the discovery of one of nature's true gems bringing smiles and cheer; but its dark side frowned behind their turned backs.

Jon Loffler has always wanted to write a novel. Having struggled to with many ideas he decided on writing short stories. He was encouraged from the feedback from family and friends, so after researching the internet on methods of writing, he decided to put pen to paper. His results were disappointing at first, but after he dreamt a story he decided to try again. Not being particularly good at written English he read several books to understand thr ptoper use of grammar and punctuation. After eighteen months the story was finished and became hearten by several positive reviews from a dozen copies he had given to friends. Now was the time to publish as an independent author.
