After losing my firstborn daughter, Serenity, I began writing poems. Here are my top 20 favourites. I hope they help other understand their grief and break the silence of pregnancy and infant loss.
After losing my firstborn daughter, Serenity, my mind began working overtime creating rhymes and poems. Here I have tried to compile a short list of my top 20 poems that remind me of the few memories I have with her [Serenity].I hope they bring understanding and comfort to other angel parents.
I hope that through these poems I can help to break the silence and stigma around pregnancy and infant loss. Maybe one day we might have a globally recognised day of remembrance.
Our angels are Always Loved and Never Forgotten.
