Bert stopped the music. ‘Righto then Bert,’ boomed Johnny, who never did anything quietly, ‘Show us what yer got.’ With a slight shake, Bert shut the door and invited his friend to sit down. He had never liked the way he felt inferior, even though they had been friends for over fifty years.
