I have only written songs up until now, and felt like going through the process of writing a book. I have enjoyed the process and am now writing my second book.
I don't really believe that one writes a book. I think a book will choose to be written, and then choose the person who is going to write it. In the same way songs just arrive and you set them free.
Although my mother was a writer, I didn't really get to know her before she died. I guess maybe the genes are stepping forward.
