Kenneth Grahame
Kenneth Grahame was born in 1859 in Edinburgh, Scotland. After studying in Oxford, he worked as an employee of the Bank of England from 1879 to 1908. He wrote satirical pieces for various magazines, and in 1908 his book The Wind in the Willows was published, which made him world-famous and ranks among the timeless classics of children’s literature.
