After I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer over two decades have passed, I reflect on my experiences together with other women's accounts. Each have opened their heart and allowed others an insight into their physical emotional and psychological state at the time.
Progress has seen lower death rates and increased remission from the disease for women in the system today. Breast Care Centres have been instrumental in this area. Genetic research is pushing the boundaries of science and questioning whether the search for a cure is just around the corner.
