Beschreibung

Afghanistan, from 1850 till 1950: A Hundred Years of Struggle, Honor, and Betrayal. Following the legendary Battle of Maiwand, a celebrated tribal leader from Farah is taken prisoner by the Emir. He dies under mysterious circumstances in Kabul, far from his homeland, broken by the tyranny of the ruler. Driven by an unquenchable thirst for revenge, his youngest son, Scheer Hamla, rises up in rebellion, that not only pits him against the regime but also leads him directly into conflict with his own brother. In a land that forgives no weakness, Scheer Hamla must decide: Does revenge justify his dangerous struggle against the Emir and the breaking of ties with his own flesh and blood?
