How do you plan your own death? How do you inform your family about it? What do your friends do while you are dying? And how much does a chocolate bar cost on death row?
Ten death row inmates from the Polunsky Unit in Texas have come together to answer dozens of questions about death row that come up again and again, but which no one really dares to ask directly. Honest, brutal, authentic and sometimes even entertaining, they talk about their daily lives, their desires, and their fears, showing us a humanity that society often denies them. They did not come to defend themselves, but to take us by the hand and guide us safely through the hell that is their life.
