The Institute of Sensor and Automation Technology (ISA) presents current results from its diverse research projects in eight articles. Topics addressed include lighting technology in poultry farming, data exchange in supply-chain shop-floors, high-frequency front-ends for environmental sensors in building automation, Mössbauer spectroscopy, development of advanced transimpedance amplifiers, optimisation of monostatic transceivers, data processing scenarios for smart home systems and design considerations for cryogenic analog-to-digital converters.
