My name is Rabea Rogge. I am an adventurer, researcher, and astronaut of the Fram2 mission. In this book, I'll take you on a brief journey through time and space, from fearless pioneers of the past to robotic explorers of tomorrow, with Fram2 right in the middle.
Join me for spaceflight training, float with the crew in weightlessness, and look back at Earth with me. We will talk about science, shifts in perspective, courage and mistakes, and also about how the profession of astronaut is opening up to private people like you and me. About the author
Rabea Rogge is from Berlin, Germany, and flew onboard Fram2 on a polar orbit to space. She studied electrical engineering in Switzerland and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Arctic robotics in Norway. As an adventurer and researcher, she has explored the far north and the oceans not only on skis, ships and with robots, but has also been trained as a spaceship pilot and conducted scientific experiments during a mission in space. Beyond her expeditions, she engages with questions about what it means to be human and how we, as humanity, can grow together.
