This is the sixth volume of a well-established and popular series in which expert practitioners discuss topical aspects of light scattering in solids. In recent years, whenever a new class of materials has been discovered (e.g. high Tc superconductors, semiconductor superlattices, semimagnetic semiconductors), Raman spectroscopy has been at the forefront of the research.
