This is what the Hungarians say about Vizslas: "If a Vizsla likes you, he will go through fire and water for you." Vizslas are not easy to describe. At first glance, what strikes you most is their elegance, but once you get to know them, you will be spellbound. They are lively, cheerful, often exuberant and yet almost hypersensitive. If you yell at a Vizsla, he will give you a dumbfounded look reflecting all the misery in the world. He will slink away with his tail between his legs, spelling out loud and clear to anyone who is watching that his whole world has just collapsed.
