Beschreibung

Thrace is the area north of Greece to the Scythians. Thrace, the Empire of Orpheus, is one of Europe's oldest cultural landscapes. Thrace was the center of the Byzantine Empire with Constantinople, now Istanbul. I made a small photo series of the small fishing port town in the province of Tekirdag. Tekirdag is a North Thracian town about 140 km west of Istanbul towards Greece. Tekirdag is the very famous with it's raki, kofte and cherry, each year are made in the Cherry Festival to show.
