«Culture, in relation to a people, can be compared to a radio and its 'frequency'. And just as a radio picks up every sound which is attuned to its frequency perfectly and with ease, and transmits the same clearly and strongly, so also can a people absorb the christian message and make it a part of themselves, provided this message is properly brought to them through the radio frequency of their culture.» (Paul C. Ekowa)
