This collection of papers focussing on the themes Educational Technology at the Crossroads (CETaLL Symposium) and Media, Multimedia, Omnimedia (Vth Man and the Media Symposium) is concerned with the fact that, for foreign language learning to be successfully implemented, multi- and hypermedia need to be effectively integrated and interlaced with a multiplicity of other media, old and new.
