Sahra Wagenknecht ist promovierte Volkswirtin, Publizistin und Politikerin, Mitglied des Bundestags für die Partei Die Linke, für die sie auch im Europäischen Parlament saß. Von 2010 bis 2014 war sie Stellvertretende Parteivorsitzende, von 2015 bis bis 2019 Vorsitzende der Linksfraktion. Sie betreibt einen eigenen Youtube-Kanal, auf dem sie wöchentlich aktuelle Themen kommentiert und schreibt regelmäßig eine »Focus«-Kolumne. Bei Campus sind ihre Dissertation The Limits of Choice und ihre Bücher Freiheit statt Kapitalismus (2012) und Reichtum ohne Gier (2016/2018) erschienen.
