When time shatters, nothing stays hidden. When sixteen-year-old Grace discovers an old pocket watch at Bellweather Station, she expects nothing more than a forgotten object left behind .....
When time shatters, nothing stays hidden. When sixteen-year-old Grace discovers an old pocket watch at Bellweather Station, she expects nothing more than a forgotten object left behind by a stranger. But its hands are moving backwards, and from the moment she touches it, the world around her begins to slip out of rhythm. At exactly 4:17 PM, time fractures. Familiar places change without warning Memories no longer belong only to the past. People appear on the platform who should be gone - or who have not yet arrived. And somewhere beneath the noise of the station, a secret that has waited for decades begins to wake. Together with Noah and Mila, Grace follows a trail of impossible clues through a town where every clock seems to be counting toward something different. Yet the deeper they search, the less certain Grace becomes of what she remembers, whom she can trust, and whether the strange watch found her by accident at all. Because some moments refuse to stay buried. Some choices leave echoes across generations. And if Grace cannot uncover the truth before the final minute runs out, the future may disappear before it ever has the chance to begin. A haunting young adult mystery about memory, friendship, betrayal and the terrifying power of a single moment.
