Volume 24 begins with the description of compounds containing more than one organotin unit. It deals with a portion of R3Sn-G-SnR3 compounds with six identical R groups and a large variety of organic G units bonded to both tin atoms exclusively via carbon atoms. Many of these compounds have been used as a synthesis aid for particular organic systems, organic derivatives of other main group elements or transition metals, and some types of polymers.
